This Aussie’s saucepan lid cleaning trick leaves rugs looking brand new!

But I think it might be a Cold Power laundry tablet. I've seen it before, but I am not at home so can't check my dishwasher and laundry tablets!

Centrelink struggles to meet demand as wait times skyrocket

Hi gollywog! It is seriously debilitating when you're left feeling powerless and totally at the behest of some impersonal, government agency. You say you have complained to your local member, but have you considered writing to the Minister for Social Services, The Hon Amanda Rishworth MP; or...

Financial pressures spark rise in 'DIY' pet treatments, vets warn of potential dangers

Good luck, Liz. I've found 3 or 4 vet surgeries here in the ACT who use VetPay - my preferred vet being one of them!

Financial pressures spark rise in 'DIY' pet treatments, vets warn of potential dangers

I should imagine so, Liz. Never really thought about it as it was my vet who first put me on to them. But I should imagine the vet surgery would need to be on VetPay's books in order for VetPay to transfer the funds for the services rendered to the customer. Jess

Centrelink struggles to meet demand as wait times skyrocket

Telstra is far worse than Centrelink. I used to pay for Telstra Premium so I didn't have to wait for hours to make it through the queue, but then either everyone else joined Telstra Premium, or Telstra just decided to funnel EVERYONE through the Telstra Premium number because the wait times blew...

Financial pressures spark rise in 'DIY' pet treatments, vets warn of potential dangers

Yes, a small amount. And they do have a $2.50 payment processing fee. For me, I set up an account for $2K credit to cover the cost of my feline's treatment. I paid $40 a fortnight. You can make extra payments at any time, and there are no penalties for early payout. Looking at an old...

Financial pressures spark rise in 'DIY' pet treatments, vets warn of potential dangers

My family inlcudes a couple of cats, fish, a rescue dog, and two rescue horses. One of my cats, a petite, 13 year-old female, developed thyroid trouble and had to have a brutal radiation treatment that necessitated her staying in isolation in the vet hospital for 10 days during which the only...

Sunrise anchor Natalie Barr sheds light on the cost of living crisis, puts Albanese in the hot seat

I am sick to death of Australia's collective mentality that the government is somehow responsible for the financial difficulties people are facing. Wake up. For decades Australians have wanted everything NOW, and for NOTHING. Their sense of entitlement is mind-boggling. So while interest rates...

Public sentiment boils over as Woolworths denies cash-out request

Honestly, I don't think it's fair to expect supermarkets to be treated like a bank where you can rock up and do a cash withdrawal over the counter. And using their checkouts as ATMs? Nah. It's one thing if you're doing a shop and you want an extra 20 bucks so you can grab some lunch in the...

Returning from 'personal leave', Sunrise presenter Matt Doran stirs intrigue with missing accessory

And this is our business, how? We have no right to snoop and speculate about someone's personal life, whoever they are. For Pete's sake, stop acting like the gutter press!

Setting Feud Aside: Prince Harry And Prince William Come Together To Honour The Late Princess Diana

I don't know who wrote this article, but they really need to do at least a modicum of fact-checking before they hit publish! The royal siblings did not 'come together', and there certainly is NO 'magical thread of family and memroies wovern throughout our lifetime' at play in that non-existent...

Karl Stefanovic explodes on Today Show—what made him fly off the handle at Albanese's government?

I was once offered the chance to run for a safe seat, but I gracefully declined. I am not a masochist, and had no inclination to waste my time and energies trying to represent people who crave peanuts.

This Coles meat tip has shoppers divided—'Cheap and dodgy' or ‘pure genius’?

This premeditated behavior is tantamount to theft in my book. It highlights the need to review the Scanning Code of Practice and close this 'free' loophole to stop those who deliberately seek to exploit it for their own gain.

Karl Stefanovic explodes on Today Show—what made him fly off the handle at Albanese's government?

Karl Stefanovic certainly has a reputation, but it is not a glowing one, and I for one, place no credence or value in anything he has to say.

Karl Stefanovic explodes on Today Show—what made him fly off the handle at Albanese's government?

Marie Antoinette NEVER said this - it is a popular misconception and an unworthy slur on her, and the government. Until such time as the dissenters can step up and PROVE to us that THEY can put their money (and opinions) where their mouth is and do better than the government, then the peanut...

Shocking revelation: Canberrans outed as Woolworths' top shoplifters

I live in Canberra, and I am not a politician. All your greedy, grasping, political representatives - and do remember they ARE YOUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES, and not Canberrans' - are an anethema to Canberrans. They fly in for a week or two here and there; screw up; and before you can say 'Jack...
