Woman exposes price gouging on common bathroom item

I wouldn’t be too excited about getting spud shed. The only thing cheap in there are the spuds. Half the time their fruit and veg are higher than the supermarkets and are going off. Most other products are imported

I would never touch any of the non bank owned ATMs as people have been known to withdraw counterfeit notes in the past

Shopper reveals some op shops are 'overcharging' customers for secondhand clothes from Kmart

Not all op shops work the same. I know of an op shop whose sole ethos is to employ people with disabilities. The money made goes back into the business to pay overheads and training. No donations are sent out of the country

Sunrise anchor Natalie Barr sheds light on the cost of living crisis, puts Albanese in the hot seat

so mr albanese knows that a lot of Aussies are doing it tough!! Well, toughen up and do something about it. For a start, quash this ridiculous VOICE that seems to be more important than putting food on the table and will only benefit the lawyers. Oh, and perhaps we don’t really need that 6% pay...

Public sentiment boils over as Woolworths denies cash-out request

There is no use crying over it. Just ask for a smaller amount and don’t forget to say thank you. They are just doing what they are told

Australian Four Pillars Distillery bought out by global company in landmark deal

As much as I like to hear of aussies doing good I have to ask why they felt the need to sell outside Australia. Another company lost. When do we stop selling to these big overseas companies??? So much for Australia being Australian. Our land is being sold off. Our resources are being sold off...

Shopper reveals some op shops are 'overcharging' customers for secondhand clothes from Kmart

That is actually a fact. Just look at the Salvos. Have you ever noticed that there are actually 2 different stores. One is a family store and one is a thrift shop. One is run by the salvos and the other by a well known supermarket chain. Do your homework. I personally think it is disgusting...

Is your pet insured with Woolworths, RSPCA, or Medibank? An unexpected crackdown might affect YOU

These so called insurance companies are not there to lessen the financial burden for a pet that needs medical attention. They are all there just to rip off customers and make a quid for themselves. Save your money peeps and put it in a seperate savings account.

Cost-of-living crisis: 66 per cent of vulnerable Aussies are struggling to pay their bills on time

It’s all very well and good to ask everyone to support the Salvos appeal but in reality, the only ones that would are the ones relying on the Salvos and other charities as they don’t have the money to start with. Perhaps it should be mandatory for anyone earning over 100,000 to put $50 into the...

Reevaluating Retirement: Should 70 be the New Standard Age for Pensions?

Absolutely Not. Let them choose if they wish to continue to work from the age of 65 by letting them earn more before their pension is touched

Karl Stefanovic explodes on Today Show—what made him fly off the handle at Albanese's government?

Yes, we the ‘mere’ people of this country have to struggle by so the government can get yet another pay rise of (don’t quote me but I think it is) 6%. Bloody disgusting

Viral sign from a tradie sparks wider debate: Effects of raised retirement age extend beyond seniors

Or a referendum for taking away all politicians privileges and making it mandatory for them to be treated the same as us ‘mere’ mortals and pass the assets test before getting approved for the pension.

Viral sign from a tradie sparks wider debate: Effects of raised retirement age extend beyond seniors

I totally agree. Maybe even pigeonhole hole workers. Those who work the hardest retire the earliest and those that sit on their butts (ie: POLITICIANS AND THE LIKE) work until they are eighty. Makes more sense!!

Meghan Markle's potential tell-all book might stir up a storm in Buckingham Palace: Why are the royals distancing themselves?

If the media continue to pander to their every word it will never go away. They need to just ignore everything these two say and do and let sleeping dogs lie!!!

Reevaluating Retirement: Should 70 be the New Standard Age for Pensions?

Well, where does one start! At the beginning of one’s ‘working’ life. I have said it before and will continue to do so. If these lazy little cretons don’t want to work then off to the armed forces for them all. (National Service). Us oldies have done our duty to this country for our whole...
