Fact of the Day: There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand
It might sound impossible, but there are actually more stars in the universe than grains of sand on all of Earth’s beaches.
Scientists estimate there are about 200 sextillion stars out there — that’s 200 followed by 21 zeros! Meanwhile, all the sand grains on Earth don’t even come close.
It’s a mind-blowing reminder of how vast the universe really is.
