Haaaa yes the memmories in the UK on the back of the jam jar I remember, U could save up the little paper lable Golly Wogs, send them into Robertsons Preservatives and get differing enamel pin, Golly Wogs to collect.
They are worth a fortune now I believe.

I used to collect the gollywogs too, Phil. I also got the brooch which I think was a one off offer from Robertsons, did you get one?

No we were too poor, I could not afford the stamp for the envelope!
 
Funny, I thought it was something to do with the Black and White minstrels Show....oops!!...am I in trouble for saying that too.
