1 x man, his father and grandfather

A man goes fishing with his father and grandfather ....... 3 men!

It was the grandfather, son and grandson

Grandfather, father, son.

A grandfather, father and son = 2 fathers and 2 sons

One father is a grandfather so one of the fathers is also a son.

Granddad, Dad (are both dads) Dad and Son(are both sons)

GRANDFATHER, FATHER AND SON

They are Father, son and grandson

It's either
a. it is a grandfather, his son and a grandson OR
b. the sons do not have the same mothers

father son and grandson

Grandfather, his son and his son

OR - the 'sons' do not share the same mothers

One is grandfather then father and then son. Grandfather and father are fathers and father and son are sons

Grandfather, and his son who is a father to a son.
2 fathers and 2 sons.

They were grandfather, father, and son. So the father is both a father and a son.

3 generations - Grandfather, father and son
