A $25 Million Boost in the Fight Against Breast Cancer
A groundbreaking research program has just received a $25 million grant from the National Breast Cancer Foundation, with the aim of halving breast cancer deaths.
The Garvan Institute of Medical Research at UNSW will use the funding to develop new therapies and fast-track clinical trials. While the survival rate is high, more than 3,000 Australians still lose their lives to breast cancer each year.
The investment — the largest-ever by the NBCF — will also fund advanced technologies to predict cancer recurrence more accurately. This gives hope to thousands of women and families across the country.

Love the doggy who wouldn't give up reaching out to a perfect stranger to save his beloved Owner that was unresponsive, and the kind stranger following the doggy, finding the dog's Owner and partner in a non-responsive state. From the stranger's passed experience, he could identify the Owner's state, and immediately contacted emergency services.
Positive outcome, hopefully the dog's Owner will follow the lead from the kind stranger who rescued them, and turn a corner in pursuit of an even more positive outcome with rehabilitation. Then their beloved dog's mission has been successfully executed!
