Posties dont walk anymore, was talking to a posty the other day as he sat on his 3 wheeled electric buggy, I laughed when he referred to it as his pope-mobile.

I was a postie briefly in 1953 and we did not walk. We rode push bikes 😄

Our posties use those they take up the whole footpath though.🌞

Our postie is a very good one but rides on the road unless he has something to deliver at houses next door to each other.

I was a Postie for a while and used to ride a motorbike. Before deliveries started I used to spend about two hours "dancing" in front of the vertical sorting stands arranging the bulk letters into run order. They used to loudly play up tempo music to increase productivity.
