Rooftop Fun Park​

A Ferris wheel… on the roof?! Back then, kids could enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides, and even a Ferris wheel right on top of Foys Department Store at the corner of Bourke & Swanston Streets. It was the ultimate city-day-out for families — a magical mix of shopping downstairs and funfair thrills up above. Have you ever visited or played here? Share your nostalgic stories with us!

Chadstone Shopping centre had similar with rides for the kids pre Christmas time
Parents could drop the kids off in there and continue shopping
 
Not there. But Myer in Brisbane had an indoor rollercoaster
 
Mark Foy's in Sydney, also had a roof top attraction. I was taken there in the 1950s. The shop closed in about 1980 and is now the Downing Centre Local and District Courts of NSW
