So sorry to hear of your problems but do not give up hope, at 58 my wife was diagnosed as having small cell lung cancer, inoperable and uncurable and they gave her 7 months to live, After getting over the shock notice she said I am not going to die, after 2 months her lung collapsed and for the rest of her life was on oxygen. She went for 15 yrs before she was diagnosed as having bowel cancer but they could not help her much owing to the lung cancer, she lasted 10 months before passing away 2 weeks before our 65th wedding anniversary, the last few weeks she was in palliative care and received exhalent care.

Dear friend,
There is so much to tell you & I want you to know peace.
The death of the body is not the end!
I KNOW the process: You will suddenly realise you’re floating above your own body. You will feel perfectly well. You will watch for a moment as those gathered will weep etc. Then a light like a tunnel will appear & you will feel “pulled” to it. After a moment you will find yourself in a place of beauty & great joy, each according to their own understanding.
Life here is like school. Lessons learned & experience gained for the growth of the human spirit. This is NOT religion! I am not religious but I do meditate every day.
Don’t be afraid Dawn, even though you don’t remember now, you’ve done this before!

Dawn this has made me really sad for you, and I’ll be praying very hard for you. Our lives never quite work out how we expect, but try not to be scared, it’s just another chapter in your journey. I hope that you aren’t in pain. You are not alone Dawn, SDC members & staff are with you, you may not know us personally, but we’re right here, and will continue to be.
Sending you love, healing and prayers from Patricia.

Hi Dawn, a privilege to pray for you. I’m a volunteer in Palliative Care, I can understand your apprehension. Please be assured of amazing care, support, considered pain relief, you will be listened to about your personal wishes. may consider either going there before you need to go or see if someone can visit you so you can ask all of your questions and be well informed. Pam 🤗

Hi there, deni67, now Dawn,

I've replied to a number of your postings etc., over a period of time.

I've made many comments on postings of how many members on this platform have diabolical health issues, which included yourself.
This was all by not naming specific contributors, which I did on purpose. I'm pretty sure that you know where I'm coming from.

You have totally amazed me how you have survived your terrible health issues which extremely & unfortunately you have., to this date.

All of us who have been on your journey, self included, certainly wish you all of the very best wishes indeed.
This is with all of your revelations which you have shared of yourself, to us, on this platform.

You have been a complete inspiration to us all. You can certainly hold your head up high.

Yes Dawn, I know that you will be well cared for on your next journey. It takes special nurses to, &, who will look after you with all of the care in the world for you.

Many thank you's for all of your postings & updates which you have posted to share with us.

I, as many others am/are sending off a prayer for you. Take care, ANGEL.

All my prayers, love and thoughts are with you as you go this very scary time. I hope you have family and friends around you to hold your hand and help you deal with it all . Take care and have faith . Xxx

Please dont feel like you are giving up by contacting Palliative care, they are there to help, as much or as little as you want/need. My friend is going through similar atm. She has chosen to inform all of her friends as to what she is going through. Everyone is rallying around her, it’s good to have that support. Please lean on family and friends. It’s a very emotional and scary time for you and you do really need people. It’s great that you have reached out to the people in this group, having someone to talk with, cry with and get angry with is most important. Sending positive thoughts and prayers ❤️
