A classic sweet just got pulled from shelves—check your pantry before it’s too late!

Product recalls are always unsettling—especially when they involve something as common as a sweet treat.

A recent alert has prompted concern among those with specific dietary needs.

Here’s what shoppers need to know about a product that could pose serious health risks.

A recall notice from a popular sweets retailer raised concerns for shoppers with specific allergies—especially those who might not think twice before indulging in a treat.

Choco Bliss issued the urgent recall after discovering that certain allergens had not been disclosed on the label of one of their products.

What made the situation more serious was the type of allergens involved and the potential impact on consumers with specific dietary needs.

The affected item had been sold exclusively at Choco Bliss stores and included all date markings up to and including ‘EXP JAN 2026’.

The issue? The product contained pistachio, milk, sesame seed and wheat—none of which had been declared on the packaging.

This posed a clear risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to any of those ingredients.

As outlined in the official warning: ‘Any consumers who have a pistachio, milk, sesame seed or wheat allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.’

Choco Bliss urged consumers with any of those allergies or intolerances to avoid consuming the product and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

‘Consumers who have a pistachio, milk, sesame seed or wheat allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.

Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.’

Anyone with further questions was encouraged to contact Choco Bliss directly via email at [email protected].

For now, the incident served as another reminder of the importance of checking food labels—especially for those whose health depends on it.

It’s a good reminder that knowing how to read food labels can make all the difference—especially when health’s on the line.
