Would you rather....?

Wakey wakey! You’ve made it past Monday—that deserves a standing ovation (or at least another cuppa)! ☕ So let’s play a quick game to wake up our brains: Would you rather have a fridge that magically restocks your favourite treat every night or a chair that gives you the perfect nap every time you sit in it?

For me, I’ve always dreamed of having a chair that could whisk me straight into dreamland the moment I sat down! My friends often joke that I can fall asleep anywhere, as long as I have something cosy to snuggle with—and honestly, they’re not wrong! 😂 Back in law school, this became a bit of a habit (definitely not a healthy one) since we were running on little to no sleep with all the cases and readings. I’d doze off just about anywhere—library chairs, lecture halls, you name it. And to this day, whether I'm with friends or family, give me a comfy spot and a quiet moment… and I’m out.

How about yours? Share your answers below. We'd love to read it!

Hi,
I would rather the chair that gives me the perfect nap every time I sit in it.

From Marcia Hull

Upon reflection I’d choose the chair. After a while the treat wouldn’t be a treat anymore if I had it everyday.

The comfy chair - I have a weight problem, I don't need a 'fridge to make it worse! Mind you, a chair I doze off in has its own drawbacks - I'd never finish my book or watch a TV show. My cats would appreciate it, though - I'd have a lap uncontaminated by my knitting project whenever I sat down!

Definitely the chair - I can't sleep sitting up.

Definitely the fridge. Imagine a fridge full of constant ice cream and Tim Tams!

It would have to be the fridge. I have a bad back and have to sit down frequently to rest it. I'd never get anything done if I fell asleep every time I sat down.
I already miss the end of movies etc because I fall asleep.💤

Definitely the chair! I really don't need constant treats as I like to keep healthy & a good weight. Would be nice to have a nanna nap on occasions as I don't fall asleep on the lounge. My hubby has no problems tho😊

Chair for me

I would pay for a magical chair that would guarantee a wonderful nap... ahhh! The thought makes me feel sleepy 😴 🥱

I don't think I'd want either. I definitely don't need a fridge to be fighting me in my quest for healthy eating on the other hand I don't need more sleep either. If anything I need a chair that would gently exercise all my lazy bits!

The fridge - already got the chair (any chair) 😴

I don’t think I would want the fridge or the chair. I don’t need treats that would add more weight than I already have and I don’t need the chair as I have a recliner lounge but I would love a recliner that would gently massage the fat away while I have my nanny nap.

Definitely the chair. I only sleep about five hours a night, and often feel the need for a catch-up nap.
