I got it...very clever. We've always observed the 5 second rule in our house, I just didn't realise it had been formally recognised 🤣🤣🤣

The 5 second rule is when you drop food on the floor it's still okay to eat if you pick it up within 5 seconds 😅

5 seconds can be extended. If a) mums just washed the floor. b) it's an extra yummy dessert. c) nobody's watching.

I first heard this rule when I came to Australia. This joke is hilarious if you remember there's a germ also signing.
As we know, it's not funny explaining a joke.

The timing depended on a significant number of factor, one of which being my mothers mood at the time of the spill.
