Things become a little difficult to assemble when the instructions come in Japanese/Chinese!!
Have bought quite a lot of flat packs from Temu lately for my new downsized home, eg buffet, shoe storage cupboard, two wardrobes, bedside cabinets, an extra pantry and a couple of others.
Most of the instructions were either in Chinese or just sketches.
Luckily my years of putting kitchens together when flipping houses meant that I didn't have a problem. But I'm not sure how somebody with no experience would even know where to start.
I did contact Temu and mention this, they actually responded (surprise) saying they would contact their suppliers and thanked me for letting them know.
Hope for other people's sake they do something about it.

Very thoughtful of you to do this. Thanks!, I'm sure a lot of people will be pleased if they start translating the instructions.

I have bought just about everything under the sun from Temu.
Started adding it up one day, got half way through, nearly had a heart attack, and stopped.
Didn't stop buying from Temu, just stopped adding it up. Lol.
I'm such a Temu tragic.

I had to laugh, yesterday I was in the hospital for an appointment and the receptionist was dressed completly in Temu stuff, I could tell because I had the same top but a different colour, and all her jewellery was from Temu 😂

Have you read translated instructions before? My husband used to bring them home from work and we would spend the evening trying to decipher them, and hysterical with laughter. 😂
Silver trays, bought by french restaurant owners, came with cleaning instructions in french: Polish using soft sandpaper.
Obviously translated from using a soft cloth to polish glassware. Papier à verre = sandpaper.

what i always do to instruction sheets in a foreign language, is on any smart phone next to the google search bar ,is the microphone and next to that is the translator sign,i line it up google translates it fot me,i take a picture and then print it, saves having to go the Chinese restaurant for a translation, hope it helps people

That's a great tip. I am at an advantage in that my new daughter in law is Chinese - she translates things like that for me. Her Mum doesn't speak a lot of English yet, but we text every day using the translation App on our phones. It's as if we've known each other all our lives! :)

Good to see your connection with your D.I.L's mother. Keep the happiness rolling!
