Dad specialised in growing hibiscus after he retired and visited Hawaii. He had over 36 varieties in his garden in Sydney. Mum always picked flowers in the morning and laid them on shelves and tables around the house. They didn't need to be put in water as they only lasted one day whether on the bush or in the house. They certainly brightened the house 🌺
