Orchid​

Lorraine's sister, who lived in Darwin, sadly passed away last year. Before she went, she sent this beautiful Orchid down for Lorraine's birthday. The close-up is of the flower on the top left

This is beautiful.. How often do orchids flower? We bought a couple from Woolies and they were good for a month or so, but we haven't seen any flowers from them since.
 
Pretty sure it's only once a year Jon...this one flowers around Christmas...
