Garden Visitor​

This guy spent a couple of hours in our garden yesterday cleaning insects out of the lawn. He was quite tame and tolerated me being out there with him.Dsc_2734.jpg

I got close but not that close... 😂
 
Over here in the West, these birds are nicknamed " Bin Chickens " and a lot of folks see them as pests. We have a group of 3 that often visit the birdbath, they have a distintive loud HONK sound when calling each other. They are quite a large bird.
