As a little girl I was lucky to have an elephant ride at Melbourne Zoo. I remember being upset watching people place lit cigarette buts around the rails for the poor unsuspecting elephant to pick up on the way around.It was my first experience of animal cruelty.

I remember my school friends buying banana & whipped cream sandwiches for lunch.

There used to be nice sheepskin boots& slippers,they were shaped,so a bit tidier.I think they were made on a last,made in Perth,don’t remember the brand.I would buy them again .

I accidentally bought a pkt of Madura loose leaf green tea a few years ago.I found it to be so much nicer,so no more tea bags for me
