    I’m a Army Veteran and I’m living in the Maitland area in NSW,I love playing Golf &Lawn Bowls. We were live on the southern end of Lake Macquarie “Gwandalan” I’m lost up here we only been here about a month ,and I haven’t yet meet and friends up here,all our friends are at Gwandalan and I miss them all .I do have mental problems as a part o my military service.( PTSD,Deep Depression and Anxiety .

    G'day Stephen and welcome, in a new area the best way to get to know the locals is what you are already doing.. playing lawn bowls, you'll meet dozens more people than you ever will at golf, whereas if you join in social games you'll meet new people every day. Use your PTSD as a tool to concentrate on the next bowl you put down... you may find that while bowling the other stuff will just disappear. (y)
