Why a US court allowed a dead man to deliver his own victim impact statement – via an AI avatar

A real clever idea how the impact victims statement was carried out & accepted by the court. Some people are extremely clever indeed as this has shown. The mind just ponders of how extraordinary happenings can be forthcoming.

Laptop left charging on bed causes house fire in Bendigo

I just thought that having something on charge was to naturally have it on a hard surface. There again, some folks ,as in this case, just don't think logically. She was extremely lucky that she had her residence insured. That was logical thinking on her behalf.

Think your pay’s safe once it hits your account? Think again!

The main thing wrong as far as I'm concerned is, why couldn't the customer speak directly to the "Fraud" protection team to try & clear the matter in "?" up. There again, at least the bank stopped any other transaction to take place which may well have been seen as fraudulent. We can see both...

'It costs me peanuts': How this 95-year-old outsmarted fuel bills

What a clever & ingenious man Ian McLeod is. Totally incredible with his ideas which he put into practice & succeeded. To make machinery out of broken down tractors etc., is mindboggling. One would hope that he could live on for another 95 years to continue with his mindset of ideas.

Popular bakery risks health with safety breaches, faces $100,000 fine

Hi "SR", I'm coming to your place for my desert. I just love apple pies & custard tarts. Hope you bake a couple of extras. With your apple pies, do you put pink icing on any of them to make them into apple charlottes ? My dear mum used to do it when we were youngens. Boy, were they were damned good.

‘I neglected the symptoms’: What this Olympian’s journey can teach us all about ageing well

I guess it all comes down to listening to your body. Your body knows when things aren't quite right & in itself attempts top give each of us the warnings, for us to heed. As with many cases, we wish Michael Klim all the very best in making a recovery.

Mum loses $5,000 after flight booking mistake others still make today

Why wouldn't she contact the airline directly by either a land line or mobile phone to speak to a customer liasion/booking representative ? To me it seems the logical procedure.

NDIS pricing changes 'incredibly cruel' says remote mobile therapy provider

Re my above, I'll finish off. Stupid machine decided to send itself off. If this was corrected, then the services needed for the genuine cases could well be afforded. At the moment, I don't know who took over Shortens portfolio, but whoever it is, more than likely won't do much or any better...

The whole bloody damned problem & complete mess with NDIS is, as we all well know is the "Crooks" in the system ripping the government off. Poor old Billy Shorten couldn't do much about the problem, so he shot through & now has himself in a better 'Bull Shit" job with a university earning...
