Use the fuel apps like Petrol Spy. By using it yesterday I found that the dearest price for diesel in my area was $2.07 and the cheapest was $1.67 a 40 cent difference. When buying up to 80 litres at a time it makes a big difference.

I hope you’re not using the “replacement cost” in valuing your assets. The Government only requires the “fire sale” value when determining you total asset value ie what would you get if you had to sell it TODAY.
