Your power bills just hit a new world record—but is this helping anyone?

I don't understand why free energy costs so much more than before; and the more free energy we get the more expensive it is?

Centrelink and Medicare warn Australians of new data scam risk

I have always wondered what would happen if we played along with scammers and just kept giving them false information on bank accounts and the like. Let them waste their time and energy chasing up false information. It wastes their time and gives us a laugh.

Still confused about what belongs in each bin? Better learn fast because mistakes could cost up to $18,150

Council's should put out their own list of recyclable materials. Not all Council's are the same. Recyclable materials marked with the Arrowed triangle with a number in it should reflect that the item is recyclable. However that is not the case. Styrofoam marked with the arrowed triangle with...

You’ve followed the rules for decades—so why do EV drivers get this special treatment?

So what is the comparison that qualifies a vehicle to be 'fuel efficient'? A double decker bus? a fully loaded semi trailer?

Backlash erupts after surprise council move leaves locals fuming

I totally agree with you. In my opinion white people who claim to be an aboriginal are insulting the true aboriginals. Go outback and you will see true aboriginals are black, not like the pretend aboriginals in the cities with their hands out. The true aboriginals outback don't want to know...

Just What the Doctor Ordered? Labor’s $25 PBS Script Cap Aims to Soothe Hip Pockets

As a Disability Pensioner I take 16 tablets a day to stay alive. All due to taking Vioxx for arthritis and as a result of taking Vioxx I've had four heart attacks. Don't give the Government too many accolades. The Government has taken one of my regular medications off the PBS which now costs...

Car Dilemma: Can this tiny gadget add a layer of security for older Aussie drivers?

A dash cam is a good idea to protect yourself. But, don't tell your insurance company you have one until you use it as back up for your defense.

Aussies make common bin mistake, get tagged without realising

What do I do with plastic bags that are made from recycled material? Are they no longer recyclable because they have been recycled?

‘Our human rights will be denied’: Could this law lead to unequal policing?

When I grew up true Aboriginals were black. Their racial skin colour was black. They lived in small shanty towns of their own tribes and didn't want to mix with white communities and lose their culture. Now they are white, claim to be Aboriginal, claim the benefits of the true Aboriginals and...

‘Our human rights will be denied’: Could this law lead to unequal policing?

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha. If public drunkenness is a health issue then call an ambulance. They will be sober by the time an ambulance arrives. :ROFLMAO:

Crumbling roads catch Aussie advocacy groups' attention: 'People want better'

We pay massive amounts in Council Rates, wage and fuel taxes. The only question is, where is it going if not into existing infrastructure. Oh, let's bring in another million people, give them a full benefit and make some new free housing estates for them so we can say we are creating...

Major Aussie bank cuts 1,500 jobs, pushes cashless future

I'm finding that $80-$90 a month for internet access to pay my bills, and then a bank fee on top is not worth it. Maybe we should lobby the Government for free internet access if they want a cashless society.

Garbo collectors are onto you: This bin day mistake can cost you $1,674!

Polystyrene is accepted by several Councils It is marked with the triangle of arrows with a 6 inside for re-cycling.

Garbo collectors are onto you: This bin day mistake can cost you $1,674!

Polystyrene is recyclable but my Council doesn't accept it in the recycle bin because they don't recycle it. So, who's at fault?

‘This will help ease some pressure’: New Centrelink change set to impact pensioners

What is wrong with this Government? So they say medications will be cheaper. I have Sero-Negative Polyarthritis and have had four Heart Attacks. I take 16 tablets a day. For 15 of my medications they are on average 20 cents cheaper. Thats a saving of $3.00. One however, has been taken off...
