When life changes, your will should too: The nine critical moments that could cost your family dearly

Giving money to anyone else to sort out my finances when I die annoys the crap out of me. My situation is simple. Married to the one person for over 50 years. None of the nine things above apply. Obviously I want my wife to inherit everything when I die. Why can't I simply tick a single box...

When technology gets too clever for its own good: Why 'Mitchell' is now a dirty word according to this fast food chain’s computer

How did Mitchell become a given name in the first place? It wasn't one when I was a kid. Common enough as a surname, but never used as a given name.

Centrelink and Medicare warn Australians of new data scam risk

You tell us to set up "a passkey or connecting your Digital ID". That is insider jargon. It turns me off. Do better.

Politicians want to tax inheritances again! Shouldn’t retirees have a say first?

Not true. The Age pension IS taxed. And every day you still get hit with John Howard's great gift to the poor, the GST.

‘The new super tax has been designed to excuse long-serving politicians': And it’s causing outrage

Well, the leaders of the No campaign, such a Peter Dutton, lied about what the Voice entailed, and his followers echoed his lies. IF you repeated anything Dutton said, you lied.

MasterChef star’s ambitious restaurant ends in heartbreaking failure

" aboriginal people are offered education but they decide if they want to attend school, they don’t have to attend if they don’t want to" You just described part of the gap.

MasterChef star’s ambitious restaurant ends in heartbreaking failure

The Voice proposal made no mention of race. Only its opponents used that word. There is a massive divide between Aboriginal and other Australians in many areas, education, health, imprisonment, life expectancy, etc. We need to close that gap. Doing nothing won't do that.

‘The new super tax has been designed to excuse long-serving politicians': And it’s causing outrage

No he's not. But I already knew that those who opposed the Voice were liars.

MasterChef star’s ambitious restaurant ends in heartbreaking failure

Most of that is pure dogma, and not worth responding to. On The Voice, logically it's those politicians and people like you who opposed it that created division.

Your age pension could drop by $203 a fortnight: Major deeming rate changes hit 460,000 Australians

I prefer a fair system that doesn't give handouts to already wealthy people.
