Australians to withdraw massive cash sums in this movement: 'Banks need to give us access'

"the customer as per the usual is the one made to pay for it. And that is not right." Have you thought about that? Of course the customer has to pay for it. They're a business that wants to make a profit like anyone else who owns a business. They're not charities.

Good to know about House. I'll shop there more often. 👍You don't get charged in Aldi if you put your card in the card reader and choose cheque or savings then put in your PIN.

ANZ Bank's latest decision has Aussies asking: What happened to simple signs?

"Elderly customers can't cope"🙄 They've always got to be mentioned to make a point. Every generation has elderly customers which must mean nothing should ever be changed to digital as nobody will cope with it. 🙄 And sorry to tell everyone but QR codes will be replacing barcodes by 2027.👍

Thousands of customers locked out of their banking accounts: 'How are they down so often?'

I think I couldn't get on my Westpac app a few weeks ago, but other than that I can't remember another time I couldn't get on it.

Australians to withdraw massive cash sums in this movement: 'Banks need to give us access'

As I'm very correct and you aren't If you are correct, which you aren't all the smaller businesses do NOT make a surcharge. Don't go to donut king!!!🙄 I don't get any cash out across the counter or from anywhere else, so wouldn't be charged anything. 🙄 If any business wants to charge a...

Thousands of customers locked out of their banking accounts: 'How are they down so often?'

Big deal. Another fuss about nothing. 🥱 How many people needed to urgently check their account just at that time? These things happen.

Australians to withdraw massive cash sums in this movement: 'Banks need to give us access'

The cash loonies are back.🙄 If cash was so great the use of it wouldn't be going down. This is 2025 not 1975. It's digital now. The cash people can continue to mess about with their paper money and have their pockets weighed down by loose change and I'll stick to paying everything by debit...

Is this 'people power' at work? Major bank reverses initial decision over regional branches

Don't know what that unnecessary outburst was about? 🙄 I don't know anything about iPhones. Never had one. Wouldn't want one. I only have android phones where I can put whatever app I want on it, not what Apple tell me to. There are many more thousands of the "aged population" who know a lot...

Cole’s ‘controversial’ change you need to know

How did I not see this very important news from 3 weeks ago? 😮 People moan that supermarkets don't help them with anything. So they try to help people and its still not good enough. 🙄 The moaners should take their own basket!!!! Or just take one of the small trolleys even if you've only got a...

'The car was a piece of s***': Argument ensues over five-digit repair job

If he needs to swear like that I'd take less notice of what he's saying. 🙄 I've only taken my car to the main dealer where I bought it. The servicing cost is probably too high every time, but I know what they've done and they're very helpful. And I keep my dashcam on silent so can see some of...

Cybercrime hits another major Aussie company—here’s what you need to know

Oh well. It's one of those things. Nothing ever seems to happen with these scares. I'll wait to see if my dark web monitor tells me anything.

Is this 'people power' at work? Major bank reverses initial decision over regional branches

What do people need so much by going into a bank branch when everything can be done online? 🤔 Do they miss queuing up to see someone? In this modern age bills get paid by direct debit and for any shopping you use a debit/credit card. It's all so simple. I've never been into any of the branches...
