Sounds funny to read it now, but I’ll bet at the time you weren’t laughing. Great little story! 😆

It’s only a joke! Not meant to be taken seriously. Jeez.

Woolworths shopper makes $52 mistake with order and reveals how to avoid it

I drink coffee, but use the coffee pods in the machine. It’s good to mention that though, as my son-in-law only drinks instant coffee as do many others. Thank you @Still Ebby. ☕️

Shocking money-saving tactic hurts Australian consumers

Quite an ordeal you’ve been through @mOiOz. Good to know there are some honest people we can rely on. Sad that we usually have to find out the hard way.

One laundry slip, one frozen knit—and advice you’ll want this winter

As a child, my mum would hang the sheets and towels out in freezing winter temperatures in Canada. She loved the fresh smell, but would need to hang them up in the basement to thaw and dry. Never did the sheets or towels snap off from being frozen. I find the statements that parts of the jumper...

Nearly half of Aussies support legalising cannabis—do you?

Some people get true benefits from cannabis in the medical sense. Take a look at prescription medication. There are always risks with any medication that can potentially affect some people and not others. So the argument that cannabis is so bad for everyone, is moot. Peanuts can be deadly for...

I listened a few times but those two were pathetic and ridiculous, so changed stations. Couldn’t stand it. Sounds like that...

Shoppers break law using trending supermarket trick without realising

I’ve never had such inadequate service from any supermarket. Hopefully an SDC member or two can give you some answers. I’ve only ever shopped in person. Good luck 👍🏻

No husband, no kids, no regrets—why her $1.6m retirement plan has everyone talking

The article explains that she is so focussed on finances that it appears there is no room for love in her life. Fine for her, but I couldn’t imagine she’d be a very friendly person. When your life revolves around money that much, you’d need to keep other people at arm’s length.

After Louis lost $109k to scammers, banks are finally combatting the 'flaw' the scammers used

Terribly deflating for this young man. He must’ve been saving for a fair while to amass that amount of money for a 24 year old. ☹️
