🎬 Father’s Day Giveaway: A Family Movie Day on Us!

Dad loved dried fruit, and every Father’s Day (without fail!) we’d buy him a large gift box of fruit. Then we’d sit at the table, waiting … waiting … for him to open it, and after teasing us with a long wait, he’d open it and share it with us all!

September Competition – Spring Story Snapshots

This Flame Tree (Poinciana) in Darwin looks so beautiful at the start of spring outside my school

One neighbour’s complaint just cost this Aussie $80 a month—could it happen on your street too?

You don’t own the verge outside your house, it’s council land. It’s also a strip pedestrians can walk along. I don’t like having to walk along the road while out taking a stroll to get around cars, caravans, boats …… We had a caravan for a while, we paid a friend to have it on his block for...

Courtesy takes centre stage in middle seat battle: 'Are you going to be rude all flight?'

We were travelling on the ferry from South Island NZ (Picton) to North Island NZ (Wellington), many passengers aboard. We were amazed to see the number of couples occupying 4 seats (one person at either end, and hand luggage on the two seats in the middle). As a couple, we had to separate into...

Retired but over income limits? You might still be eligible for this benefit saving retirees thousands!

Interesting article! Before I relocated, I used to have coffee with a self-funded retiree, who spoke once of her Health Card from Centrelink. I had no idea what she was referring to, as she wasn’t on the Age Pension. Now I know, and I’ll be trotting into Centrelink once I turn 67.

It takes 10 minutes a day—but it could save you $260 at the grocery checkout

Can’t really help you with Toluna. I am registered, I got to 25000 points, then stopped doing their surveys. I might drop back in, I think 30000 points gives me $10 at Bunnings. Like you, I use Flybuys/PureProfile, and also I mainly use Pure Profile (not attached to Flybuys) and PrimeOpinion and...

Deb’s Dollar Dazzlers: Smart survey wins, tasty pinwheels, and a $20 boost!

That is so cool that you won an Air Fryer! But it makes you wonder how many people would delete their winning email, when they have no idea they have entered. It’s good that you didn’t hit DELETE.

It takes 10 minutes a day—but it could save you $260 at the grocery checkout

The heading is misleading “it takes 10 minutes a day”. I can honestly say you won’t make much money if you just complete surveys for 10 minutes a day.

It takes 10 minutes a day—but it could save you $260 at the grocery checkout

Yep, exactly what I do, but I’d avoid paying $14 for bags and delivery

Deb’s Dollar Dazzlers: Smart survey wins, tasty pinwheels, and a $20 boost!

Great to hear! The $$’s do add up, and it’s worthwhile, particularly in these expensive times.
