It was such a long time ago, about 55 years ago and didn’t keep going with it. I enjoyed it and felt good that I could achieve something so effortlessly. Good memories.

Like you I discovered archery at school. I also detested (and was bad at) team sports and loved the idea of perfecting a skill with no obligation to anyone else. As a historian I always keep to the traditional Robin Hood wood longbow. Wonderful fun.
