I have been watching a series on Netflix called "MONSTER" The Ed Gein Story. OMG!!!!! 8 episodes all up...but after about episode 3, I cannot watch more than 1 episode at a time as it details his macabre crimes with such gruesome and sickening acts. He was supposedly pushed by personal tragedy into pathological criminality. His story is also supposed to have inspired movies like "Psycho", "Texas Chain Saw Massacre" and "Silence of the Lambs.. although I think these are fictional movies. Trust me, those movies are mild horror compared to the "Ed Gein Story". I actually Googled about him as I could not believe that it was a true story about a really sick psycho. Authorities literally stumble across his horrific crimes, charge him and he does not even get prison time..he gets put into a mental institution where so far in the story he rules the institution and is worshipped like a god by some staff and patients. That is as far as I have
watched and have 2 episodes left, which will probably take me another week or so to watch.
On a happier note...if you want a feel good movie full of funny, sad and touching moments, then you can't go past "The Art of Racing in the Rain" on Netflix. Kevin Costner is the voice over for a dog named Enzo... who tells the story of watching his owner live a life of passion and heartache. You will laugh and cry throughout the entire movie.
