'I will not stop': She wanted the world’s biggest lips—but even her doctor refused to go any further

A woman who once looked like the girl next door now claims the title of ‘world’s biggest lips’—but at what cost?

Her extreme cosmetic journey shocked even the doctors she trusted.

And despite warnings of tissue death, she still refuses to stop.

Andrea Ivanova, a 27-year-old woman from Bulgaria, has spent more than $41,000 on lip filler alone since beginning her transformation in 2018.

She recently shared photos of her face before surgery—revealing a striking contrast to her current look, which includes dramatically enlarged lips and cheeks. Image available here.

Andrea underwent multiple cosmetic procedures beyond lip augmentation, including chin shaping, jaw contouring, and cheekbone enhancement—all in pursuit of her bold aesthetic.

‘I like exaggerated things like huge lips, a face with many fillers, heavy and eccentric make-up,’ she said.

The former philosophy student said she was uninterested in natural beauty and deliberately set out to radically change her appearance.

‘I don't like boring ordinary appearances and I am a fan of huge shapes and eccentric beauties,’ she added.

She has become known for pushing the limits of cosmetic enhancement, even admitting to undergoing six procedures in a single day—against her regular doctor’s advice.

‘My doctor was afraid to inject more hyaluronic acid into my lips, but I was adamant that I wanted more, and I will not stop,’ Andrea said.

In that session, which took place in Germany after her usual surgeon refused, Andrea said she received injections in multiple areas of her face.

‘Until now, I always did these on different areas of the face on different days,’ she explained.

Her previous maximum had been three procedures in one go, making the leap to six a personal experiment in endurance and transformation.

‘I wanted to experiment with myself to see how many injections and [amounts of filler] would affect my body,’ she said.

Though thrilled with the results, she admitted the pain afterward was intense.

‘I have pain all over my face right now and my jaw and chin hurt a lot,’ she said at the time.

‘It's hard for me to smile because of the pain in my cheekbones and there's a pulling sensation over my face.’

Andrea said this was a normal side effect of the filler not yet settling, but added that the discomfort in her lips was minimal due to the high volume of injections.

‘I only feel a slight discomfort, but that's where I have the most amount of filler and where I've had injections the most amount of times,’ she said.

‘The more filler there is, the less the area hurts.’

Despite the pain, Andrea showed no signs of slowing down and even expressed a desire to repeat the multi-procedure sessions.

Her regular doctor continued to voice concerns—but now even her German surgeon has warned her of the risk of necrosis.

‘I had no fears about having so many injections at once because I trust my doctor and they are a great professional in cosmetic surgery,’ she said.

‘But they are afraid I'll get necrosis and have to have the tissue surgically removed from my lips if I carry on.’

Necrosis, a potentially fatal condition, occurs when insufficient blood flow causes body tissue to die, and can result from injury, chemicals or radiation.

Andrea acknowledged the risks, including facial swelling, bruising, inflammation, and raised body temperature—but said recovery would take just a few days.

‘You shouldn't judge people for their looks. It's their taste and no one has the right to be offended because of it,’ she said.

‘I think I'm going to carry on doing multiple injections in one day going forward, as it makes me very happy.’

Cosmetic procedures may promise dramatic results, but the risks can be just as extreme—especially when safety is overlooked.

While Andrea chose to undergo her enhancements willingly, not everyone is aware of the dangers lurking behind closed clinic doors.

For another eye-opening example of how beauty treatments can go dangerously wrong, this real-life story is worth a look.

The Bulgarian hag runs a close second.
Dear member Veggiepatch, thankyou for your post. It's sad to think that these women actually see themselves as beautiful. I don't mean to be disrespectful , but I don't know how l would stand infront of this woman, and not get scared of her appearance. Wishing you an enjoyable and pleasant week. 🙏🦋

Has anyone watched Botched , it shows the extremes people go to. The Drs on that show have tried to talk people out of what they want, only to ignore the advice. They refuse to do the surgery, and try to fix stuff upsother Drs have done.ionly watched it a couple of times and that was enough.

AKA Cat woman passed away in December 2024 of a pulmonary embolism. These usually result from a blood clot in the legs moving up to the lungs, or wherever. Who knows if all those years of cosmetic work had something to do with the way the blood is flowing through the body.
She never admitted having a cosmetic surgery obsession. She just wanted to have eyes like cat, or so the reports say.
It is sad to see someone spend his/her life obsessed with desire to look different. We miss so much of the real world whilst pursuing the holy grail of eternal youth, or, desire to be different.
The young woman in this thread does not have the right people looking after her interests. What we see is outrageous, what she sees in the mirror might be her normal. Very sad. It goes without saying that any doctor agreeing to continue with this does not deserve to practice anywhere, or any way.
I know one thing, if this was my daughter, intervention would have taken place very early in the piece. I hope she gets the help she needs before meeting the same end as Cat Woman.

I watched it for awhile but it was awful seeing what some woman wanted done especially to their private parts.🌞

Yes same here.🌞

When I first looked at the photo of her face I felt pity for her. Andrea Ivanova undoubtedly has a severe problem. So young and it’s very doubtful she’ll live to middle age. Her face can only take so much and she’s abusing it. Sad. The doctors should be charged with grievous bodily harm.

That's even if the "doctors" were actually qualified.

There are a couple of "beautician" courses in Australia that are not accredited. A Sydney "cosmetic" surgery was run by a woman who had these fake qualifications and badly botched up a procedure and was charged with some criminal offence, possibly impersonating a doctor.

I'm quite sure SDC ran a story on this a few months ago.
