Aussie Neighbor Exposes Racist Tirade : See Why He Screamed 'It is my country!'

In a deeply unsettling incident that has raised concerns about racism in Australia, a South American migrant has been subjected to a vile, racist rant by his neighbour, an event that has left the community and online viewers shocked and appalled.

Brandon, who hails from Colombia and has been in Australia for 18 months, experienced a level of hostility that no one should have to face, especially in their own neighbourhood. The confrontation took place outside his Mile End apartment block in Adelaide's inner west, where he was accosted by a neighbour who jumped a fence to unleash a ten-minute tirade filled with hateful language and threats.

The disturbing encounter was captured on Brandon's phone as the neighbour erupted, 'Do not stand there and tell me what to do in my own f***ing country, c***. It is my country!' The man's rant escalated as he hurled a string of insults at Brandon and even threatened to retrieve a gun and shoot him.

This kind of behaviour is not only unacceptable but also deeply concerning, as it reflects underlying issues of intolerance and xenophobia that still exist within some segments of society. It's a stark reminder that despite Australia's multicultural ethos, there are still individuals who harbour and express such extreme views.

Brandon, understandably shaken by the ordeal, expressed his fear and inability to relax in his own home, saying, 'I feel fear because he's bigger than me, maybe he's drunk, he has beer bottles.' Having moved into the Mile End apartment building next to the man's Federation-style single-story house just three months ago, Brandon could not have anticipated such a hostile reception.

The video, which has since circulated online, shows the neighbour telling Brandon that Australia was his country and threatening violence. It's a chilling display of aggression and a violation of the safety and peace that everyone deserves in their community.

Despite the traumatic incident, Brandon's love for Australia remains strong. 'I love Australia, really... I have a special place in my heart. Really, I'd love to stay here,' he said, highlighting the warmth and affection he feels for the country that has become his home.

The man in the video, when approached by Nine News, denied that his actions were racially motivated but declined to comment further. This denial does little to mitigate the impact of his words and the fear they have instilled in Brandon and potentially others in the community.

As members of the Seniors Discount Club, we stand with Brandon and all who face such discrimination. It's crucial that we, as a society, condemn these actions and work towards a more inclusive and respectful Australia. We must not only speak out against racism but also support those affected by it.

Why do people think that they are above everyone? This poor person is in a country that is not his birth country and wants to embrace the culture and what used to be our laid back lifestyle. Now we are turning into a bunch of thugs, loud mouthed racists with a high and mighty attitude. I used to be proud to be an Aussie now when I see things like this I want to hang my head in shame.

You're right, it's not the melting pot of nationalities that make up Australia, that's the problem here. It's the bigotry of a very small group who see themselves as superior, for whatever reason.

There's a backstory there that we are not being told ... 'Do not stand there and tell me what to do' ?????
Hi duckiedoodle,
Yes, once again we're not told what happened for the barrage to take place by the neighbour.
As per usual, there is definitely a big chance something unsavoury has transpired between the two.
The true facts haven't been disclosed.
What, is any bodies guess.

I have been in Brandon's shoes....as an Australian born citizen at the hands of Middle Eastern pig dodgers who claim THEY own this country.

Is suppose this is becoming true as enclaves of Muslims become whole suburbs and eventually take over complete local government areas. Take the City of Canterbury-Bankstown for example!

Why are we only being told one side of this story, it’s not acceptable to rave, rant or threaten anyone, but it happens.
If, as this story has been written, why were the authorities not investigating, especially when it’s stated the man threatens to get a gun!!!!!!!!
Unless there is the full account from both sides, why is it even news.
No wonder we all hate and distrust the media outlets.

This dickhead should be jailed for issuing threats as the law allows, why isn't he. Police again ignoring their responsibility. Then the police complain that the public distrust them and wonder why!
