Catch-up time! How did your holidays go?​

Hey, members!

I’ve missed you all so much, and I’m thrilled to be back after a holiday season full of firsts. Last year was memorable for me—I spent Christmas Eve in our new home with my partner, where we cooked a delicious meal and hosted her family for dinner. It was such a warm, intimate evening. On Christmas morning, we headed over to my family’s place to celebrate with them.

The days leading up to New Year’s were filled with entertaining friends and family in our new home, which, while a little tiring, was so worth it. I truly loved having everyone around to celebrate together!

Hi Vella glad to hear you had a lovely Christmas ! I spent 3 weeks with one of my sons and his wife, they were looking after their granddaughter's 5 and 3 years old so now I’m knackered and looking forward to going home this weekend to start looking for a new place.

Just "another" lonely day..........ALONE !!!!!!!

We didn't do much of anything really, we gave the cats new toys, but they were more interested in the boxes. I brought him a sign for his rumpus room and he brought me a crystal butterfly, I love my crystals.
For dinner we had left over Chinese from the night before, that was still yummy. We did watch Red One, which is a new movie starring Dwayne Johnson about Santa being kidnapped and Dwayne was his bodyguard, it was a feel good movie and very funny, plus Dwayne is hot

The Rock always rocks my boat and yes he’s soooooooo hot I love his movies he’s so funny
I saw the original movie that Red One is a remake of it was so good can’t wait to see his.

I was so lucky we drove up to Perigian Springs for Christmas Day, to my Sister's Daughter and her Husband. They have a lovely home where they have a swimming pool and big open area to sit in lounges that you don't (or can't) get out of. We had the most yummy Christmas lunch, they being vegetarians, they made salads, pasta dishes, potato bakes and this lovely cake to eat (just to make sure we'd had enough). My Nephews and Nieces were there most of them, and handed out the presents. It was so good just to sit and talk with two of my Sister's Daughters as I haven't had in years past. It was so peaceful and full of love. We (me and my Big Sis) drove back to Brisbane in that tired happy state of mind that is all you imagine Christmas with Family is. A perfect day.
