In the world of kitchen gadgets, there's a thrill in discovering a versatile tool that not only simplifies cooking but also doesn't break the bank. Enter the $15 Kmart Microwave Toastie Maker, a gadget that's causing quite the stir among home chefs and savvy shoppers alike. But here's the twist: it's not just for whipping up quick and easy sandwiches. Oh no, this little gem is proving its worth beyond the humble toastie, and our members at the Seniors Discount Club are all for these ingenious hacks!

The Anko Microwave Toastie Maker from Kmart has become a household name, not just for its affordability but for its surprising versatility. An Aussie mum recently shared her delight online when she discovered that this gadget could 'perfectly' fry an egg in under four minutes. Just a quick spray of oil on both sides, crack an egg onto the plate, seal, and microwave. Voilà! A perfectly cooked egg without the hassle of a frying pan or the worry of flipping it over.

But why stop at eggs? The creativity of home cooks knows no bounds. Some have suggested adding a rasher of bacon alongside the egg for a complete breakfast, all made within the confines of this nifty device. Imagine the ease of preparing a

The toastie maker's popularity soared when a TikTok video showcasing a perfectly browned sandwich garnered a staggering 5.2 million likes in just a week. It's clear that this gadget is not just a flash in the pan; it's a kitchen revolution in the making.

The gadget's silicone casing and non-stick aluminium interior make it a breeze to clean, which is always a bonus in our books. And the color options – pink, green, blue, or black – add a splash of fun to the kitchen.

But the versatility doesn't end with breakfast. Fans of the toastie maker have been using it to create 'the crispiest' melted cheese toasties, cook party pies to perfection, and even reheat leftover pizza without the sogginess that often comes with microwave reheating. It's a game-changer for those who love their pizza with a bit of crunch.

For individuals with dietary restrictions, such as coeliacs, the Microwave Toastie Maker is a godsend. One user shared how her gluten-intolerant mother swears by the gadget, keeping one at work to make gluten-free toasties without the fear of cross-contamination from communal kitchen appliances.

It's clear that this $15 Kmart find is more than just a toastie maker; it's a multipurpose marvel that's capturing the hearts and kitchens of Australians nationwide.
