That's a whisky business: Woman’s good deed for neighbour takes wrong turn with her electric whisk

When we're often too busy to notice the needs of others, acts of kindness can shine like beacons of hope.

That's why it warms our hearts when we hear someone going out of their way to do something nice for a neighbour.

But sometimes, even the best intentions can lead to unexpected and unfortunate outcomes.

This was the case for Natalie, a resident of the United Kingdom whose simple act of neighbourly love turned into a hair-raising disaster.

Natalie decided to make a homemade pizza for her neighbour. However, as she was preparing the pizza dough with an electric whisk, a moment of distraction led to a culinary catastrophe.

While whisking the dough, a strand of Natalie's hair got caught in the rotating appliance. In a matter of seconds, the situation escalated as more hair entangled, leaving the whisk firmly lodged against her head.

The shock of the incident prompted Natalie to record her reaction and share it online, where she expressed her disbelief and pain.

‘My hair just got caught in the f*****g whisk... it's literally, it's stuck,’ she said.

The footage showed the two prongs of the whisk stuck to the side of her hair, with dough splattered across her face, hands, and clothes.

Natalie admitted that the pain was so intense she felt like she might ‘pass out’.

'I said to my neighbour I'd make her a pizza, and she was like, “Aw yeah, it sounds well nice”,' she recounted.

'What do I do? What the f**k do I do?'

In a panic, Natalie detached the heavy electric base from the prongs but was left with the dilemma of how to free her hair without resorting to drastic measures.

She called a friend who was a hairdresser, hoping to avoid a visit to the doctor, which she feared would result in her hair being cut off.

'I know what's going to happen, they're gonna have to cut it out, it's giving me a massive f*****g headache, and I don't know what to do,' she lamented.

Despite her friend's attempts to remove the whisk using oil, the effort was in vain.

After a sleepless night with the whisks still dangling from her head, Natalie had to face the inevitable.

In a follow-up video, the whisks were cut out, leaving her with tufts of hair missing and remnants of batter still entwined.

'I'm laughing, but I've spent all night crying...I'm gutted,’ she said, showing the camera the aftermath.

'I've still got bits of batter in my hair...I may as well have just bought a pizza rather than trying to make it from scratch,' she admitted.

Why do we need stories like this from overseas on SDC? Maybe next time she will put her hair up properly or better still wear hairnet or hat.

I think the point is not that the story is from the UK, but to remind us of being mindful with doing everyday things.

Who in bloody hell would have their head & hair in the mixing bowl while using electrical mixers. She might've wanted to add more "Nutrients' to the mix. Just a complete Dill Brain.
