You won't believe what this Jetstar flight attendant had to deal with on her 'worst trip' ever!

We all have those days where everything that can go wrong, does. You know the ones – they're the days where you can't seem to catch a break, and no matter how hard you try.

For most of us, these kinds of days are relatively rare and usually don't amount to much more than a frustrating day or an argument with a loved one, usually resolved after sharing a meal together.

But for others, who work in customer service or another people-facing industry, these kinds of days can be downright nightmarish.

Take, for example, this Jetstar flight attendant who was recently asked to share her worst experience while working on a plane. Known as 'the_shawstuff_flighty' on social media, Erika was happy to oblige when she took to TikTok yesterday to recount her 'grossest day' onboard a flight from Bali (Indonesia) to Townsville (Australia).

As Erika explains, she was serving as the cabin manager on the flight when she started noticing an unpleasant smell wafting through the cabin about halfway through the trip.

When she went to check one of the lavatories onboard, she realised a female passenger had 'trapped' herself inside.

'I said to her “if you're feeling sick, don't trap yourself in the toilet, come outside, and we will give you some ice and hydrolytes”, but she said no,' said Erika, remembering how the passenger insisted on asking for 'cleaning products'.

When she went over to investigate further, Erika found that this passenger had gotten severely ill – lost control of her bowels level of sick – and had vomited and defecated all over the plane bathroom.

'It was smeared all over the wall of the lavatory and all over the glass, or mirror, and on the door,' Erika recalled.

'You can't unsee that stuff.'

Needless to say, Erika and her fellow crew members were absolutely horrified by what they saw (and smelled). They did their best to make sure this poor woman was as comfortable as possible for the rest of the flight, including finding clean clothes for her from friends travelling with her.

But unfortunately for everyone involved, the story didn't end there.

It turned out that the woman was not the only one who had a severe case of 'Bali belly', but so were two of her friends who had been making fun of her earlier! They started throwing up so hard that Erika said it was like 'losing the contents of their intestines' on their seats.

While we feel bad for everyone involved in this gross incident, we have to commend Erika and the rest of the crew members for handling the situation so well under trying circumstances.

It's clear that they went above and beyond to make sure everyone onboard was as safe and comfortable as possible during what must have been one of the most difficult trips of their careers!

What do you think of this story, folks? Have you ever experienced a flight that was this awful? Please share your stories in the comments!

I would have aske for a parachute and left the plane, next time I would take a slow boat

When I was a cleaner at a large shopping mall an unfortunate gentleman had the same problem. He rushed to the toilets but didn’t manage to get into a toilet cubicle before having a major disaster. He was trying to clean himself up when I walked in and I felt so sorry for him and started to help him clean himself up, all the time trying not to gag. He was so embarrassed, I didn’t want to make him feel worse

No thank God and I have ridden in Caribous, every one who got sick on there had to carry it off themselves 😉
