You won't believe this bizarre Aussie parking blunder – are you making the same mistake?

Parking can be a tricky business, especially in busy urban areas where every spot is precious. But what happens when a simple parking mistake turns into a sticky situation? That's exactly what happened to an Aussie driver named Bianca, who found herself at the center of a rather unusual parking dispute.

Bianca's parking blunder began innocuously enough when she left her car at the back of a clinic, a place where she apparently works and where, according to her, parking is usually not an issue. 'Normally no one ever parks there anyway,' she explained in a video she posted on social media. However, on this occasion, she overlooked the signs indicating that she shouldn't park there.

Upon finishing her day at work, Bianca returned to her car only to find a note attached to her window. But this wasn't just any note; it was a large sticker firmly adhered to the glass. The message read: 'Please don't park here in my spot. If you want this spot let me know and you can rent it out.' Bianca was taken aback, not just by the message but by the method of delivery. 'Any normal person would leave a note under the windscreen wiper,' she said, expressing her frustration at the sticker which was 'fully stuck on.'

The incident sparked a debate among her followers, with Bianca herself questioning whether she was in the wrong or if the sticker's creator had 'taken it too far.' The consensus among Aussies seemed to be that while Bianca shouldn't have parked in the spot, the sticker response was 'super weird.'

The story didn't end there. In a follow-up video, Bianca revealed that she had managed to remove the stubborn sticker from her window after some effort. She even joked about creating her own sticker in response to the over-the-top parking enforcement.

This parking saga is a reminder of the ongoing tensions surrounding parking in Australia. Just last month, another debate was sparked when a resident used traffic cones to reserve a space on the road in front of his house, a tactic exposed by neighbor Aimee Parker. The neighbor had asked Parker to move her car, which was parked outside his house, and then proceeded to use the cones to block off the area, claiming he needed space to reverse his truck and trailer out of his driveway.

Parking etiquette is a topic that often gets people's blood boiling, and it's clear that while rules are in place for a reason, the enforcement of those rules can sometimes lead to unexpected and bizarre outcomes. If you find yourself in a similar situation, remember that while it's important to respect parking regulations, communication is key. A polite conversation can often resolve issues more effectively than a passive-aggressive sticker.

And if you're ever on the receiving end of a sticky note, there are a few tried and tested methods for removing them. Suggestions from the public include using Windex, eucalyptus oil, a razor, or isopropyl alcohol to peel away the residue without damaging your vehicle.

"A parking predicament like Bianca's", SDC? Seriously?

Classic post-rationalisation, Your Honour. Prosecution rests.....

This is weird. If she works there who put up the sign, and is it authorised? If the note writer does not need the parking spot (evidenced by offering to rent the space) why not let a person working there use the space?

Yes we were in Forbes NSW recently. As the parking bays are too short for our 26’ (7.95m) Motorhome thought we would try for the rear of Woolworths. Yes we fitted completely in the ones our the back of the shop as they were longer parking bays. Quickly did our shopping & left to head home. Driving along hubby found a sticker saying we should not park there. Had us puzzled as we knew we fitted in okay. Then I realised we had parked in a disabled bay, BUT didn’t they check our front windscreen & see my disabled permit? Obviously not. Don’t people realise people in Motorhomes can also be disabled not just in a car? Very rude of them. Same in Childers, we parked right in front of a Chemist shop, I walked in & a lady customer in there said to me, you should not park there it is a disabled bay. I said to her, would you like to go & see my permit on the windscreen? She just said no & ignored me. An apology would have been nice.

People are always quick to pick. They don't look properly and then have their say. And they can be wrong. No cannot apologize to Shaw of themselves.😤
Kind regards Vicki
