Many people shy away from sprucing up their homes with stylish decor because they believe it to be an expensive endeavour.
However, this doesn't have to be the case! There are plenty of ways to add a touch of style to your home without breaking the bank.
One way to do this is by shopping around and looking for posh-looking items at budget-friendly stores. You can often find great pieces of furniture or home decor for a fraction of the cost of what you would pay at a regular store.
If you're in the market for a new lamp, you may want to head to your local Kmart. Many shoppers are praising the retailer for becoming the go-to store for affordable dupes of designer home decor items.
The store is now carrying a dupe of a popular Beacon lamp - and it's a fraction of the price.
One savvy shopper tried her luck out with Kmart when she spotted the $259 Paloma Linen Lamp from Beacon and realised that she could not afford it.

'OMG I wanted this lamp from Beacon but it's too expensive,' she wrote on Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia.
However, she decided to call her local Kmart store to ask if they have a similar-looking item.
The customer added: 'I called Kmart today instead and look what I found, a dupe of the lamp I want to purchase!'
'I can tell you there’s not a great deal of difference between the two except the price.'
She also noted that Kmart's version is virtually identical to the Beacon lamp, except for a few small differences in the stand.
And the best part? It only costs $39!
You read that right, folks! That's a saving of $220!

Many shoppers have already taken to social media to share their finds, with many saying they're impressed with Kmart's increasing selection of stylish and affordable homewares.
One user shared: 'Same as my lamp, it's either $29 or $39 from Kmart or $169 from Temple and Webster and they look no different.'
'Yes, I bought one in Kmart for $29, the same one is in IKEA for $59,' another added.
'Big difference in the price but the same size and a little different in the stand (nothing to warrant a $30 hike).'
Other Kmart fans shared that they also nabbed the lamp atKmart after spotting it at Beacon.
One shopper wrote: 'I too wanted the Beacon lamp and couldn’t get it anywhere until I found the Kmart one.'
'Got ours from Kmart too. They look amazing! For a quarter of the price,' another said.
A third chimed in: 'Yes, I have one of these too. Good old Kmart.'
With Kmart's ever-expanding range of stylish and affordable home decor items, it's no wonder that more and more people are turning to the store for their home decor needs.
Who needs to spend a fortune on designer items when you can get the same look for a fraction of the price at Kmart?
