You won't believe how this man got revenge on a rude plane passenger with 'smelly feet'

We all know that travelling can be quite a trying experience, especially when some fellow passengers are less than considerate in their behaviour. And for those who've been flying long before the days of no-frills airlines, airport security queues, and exorbitant baggage fees, it’s sometimes perplexing to see recent developments in what people perceive as socially acceptable in-flight behaviour.

One such case recently caught our eye and we couldn't help but have a little chuckle over this creative revenge.

A plane passenger who had apparently had enough of a fellow traveller's bad behaviour decided to take matters into his own hands. The social media user went viral after sharing video footage that shows his response to a woman repeatedly shoving her 'smelly feet' beneath his seat.

As narrated by the content creator, the woman seated directly behind him continually put her sock-covered feet under his seat during the flight. He responded by holding his soft drink can above her foot and pouring a sizeable droplet onto her big toe. The woman wriggled her foot for a few seconds but didn't move it. Persistent and undeterred, Daniel tried again, pouring even more liquid onto her now-damp toes. Honestly, we have to give him points for creativity!

As the video unfolds, we see the passenger squirming in discomfort, trying to figure out just what is causing the sudden wet sensation on her feet. Finally, after a bout of investigative wriggling, she musters the good sense to retract her feet from beneath Daniel's seat. In the on-screen text, he wryly commented, 'Woman on the plane behind me kept putting her smelly feet under me... she then stopped.'

Though the flight's origin and destination aren't clear, the presence of a bag of Cadbury Dairy Milk Giant Buttons chocolate beneath the same seat suggests that they had departed from an airport somewhere in the United Kingdom. The video quickly garnered over 256,000 views, undoubtedly sparking a bit of controversy. Unsurprisingly, Daniel opted to disable comments on his post.

Regardless of one's opinion on Daniel's approach, we can surely agree that this unknown woman isn't the first person to be taken to task on social media for removing her shoes and getting a bit too cosy during a flight. Just last month, another passenger aboard a crowded flight was publicly shamed for boldly placing her feet atop a headrest.
This incident, shared via a Reddit thread, detailed the woeful in-flight experience that included a photograph of the sock-covered feet propped up at a thoughtless 90-degree angle right beneath the air vent. According to the poster, this only served to 'waft the scent through the plane’.

Key Takeaways
  • A man exacted revenge on a fellow aeroplane passenger who kept putting her 'smelly feet' under his seat during the flight.
  • The passenger filmed himself slowly pouring a soft drink onto the woman's shoeless foot and shared the video online.
  • The video went viral, garnering more than 256,000 views since it was posted.
  • This incident follows other cases of passengers being called out on social media for not observing proper aeroplane etiquette.

Social media reactions to the video were split, with many supporting Daniel's actions while others argued that it was inappropriate. This opens up an interesting debate about what is and isn't acceptable behaviour when confronted with impolite conduct on a plane. We would love to hear what you consider impolite behaviour on planes!

Whether you're an experienced traveller or a novice at navigating today's modern skies, let this serve as a reminder of the importance of courtesy, consideration, and perhaps a dollop of sweet revenge when faced with those who throw plane etiquette out the window. Safe travels!

People keep your whole body within the confines of your allocated seat, if your feet protrude to the seat in front you are out of line and out of your allocated space. there are enough ignorant people in this world with out having to put up with them in such confined spaces, wether it be taking shoes off, putting them on the head rest (please) how rude is that, letting your kids go FERAL, coughing and spluttering all over everyone. Use manners and all will be good. By the way I would have slammed my foot down on that rude cow so hard she would need crutches to get off the plane.
