I wonder how many members here can remember the touring Magic Show "The Incomparable Sloggetts" ? I think a lot of members would have seen his show. Charlie Sloggett was my father. He died in 1962 when I was 7 years old, and all I wanted to do was to follow in his footsteps. I have been a full time professional Magician for over 40 years now.
I have published a book that tells the story of Australia's famous magician Charlie Sloggett, who toured his travelling magic show for more than sixty years. It includes many anecdotes from my own career. The book also provides a wonderful archive of photographs and newspaper articles.
