Yeah I was 14 at the time working at a car washing place after school and Saturday mornings for 50 cents an hour

I can remember getting paid long before these notes. My first pay was 3 Pounds 5 shillings as a florist and a couple of years later was 3 Pounds 10 shillings as a nurse working a 16 day straight, one day off shift 4.30am to 3.30pm. Oh how things have changed and we didn't even protest.
