Woolworths is telling you to go gold for Christmas
Less than ten weeks left before our old friend Santa visits us again, and while that is still a good two months away, you can enjoy sneak peeks of the Christmas spirit at your local Woolies today.
The supermarket is leading the early celebration by releasing the first products from its 2021 Gold Christmas dessert range. Plum puddings, fruit mince tarts, shortbread and slices will be hitting shelves soon nationwide.
What makes this year’s Gold Christmas dessert range special is the additional Aussie twist to the classic favourites, including a four-pack of individual meringues infused with native lemon myrtle from the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

If you’re craving some chocolate, there’s also a chocolate pudding made with fruits soaked in Hunter Valley shiraz and Aussie dark chocolate, and white chocolate and macadamia tarts made with Murray River salt flakes and Australian honey and macadamias.
Woolworths is focused on giving local suppliers their support. Everything in the range is made in Australia. Four of the five products available today are also made of at least 75% Australian ingredients.

And if you’re looking to indulge in a little extra elegance that won’t hurt the wallet, the supermarket will be adding a 20-piece packet of mini desserts to the collection later this month.
Just for $25, you get five mini lemon meringue tarts, five chocolate ganache and raspberry tarts, five tiny cherry cheesecakes, and five white chocolate, honey, and macadamia cheesecake slices.
These are just a few parts of their Christmas collection. We’ll keep you posted as the collection evolves, and let you know when Aldi and Coles bring out their festive range!
