Sydney local Liam Kirley shared a video on TikTok showing how you can find out whether your store is busy or not, within the comfort of your own home.

“Here is a shopping hack to know how busy your local Woolies is at home,” he said.

“So search up Woolworths Q Tracker, enter your postcode and it'll tell you how busy your store is and if there's any [queue] wait.”

Using the supermarket’s Q Tracker online, simply enter your postcode or the suburb of the preferred store, and it will show you the estimated queue time to visit. With the tracker, you’ll know the busiest day during the week, allowing you to plan ahead for your next grocery shopping.

And every five minutes, the data on the site gets updated, giving the shopper the current details prior to their visit.

The TikTok video has amassed over 35,000 views and 4,800 likes, with some shoppers commenting that this is a really cool feature and will use it the next time they shop at Woolworths.

But this is not the only shopping tip Liam has on the Woolworths AU’s TikTok account.

A few weeks ago, he also shared how people can make their shopping experience more efficient and faster.

“Put one reusable bag down on the conveyor belt, put all the items you want in that bag [behind it] on the conveyor belt... and repeat the process,” Liam shows how it can be done on video.

By placing the reusable shopping bags and grocery items on the conveyor belt, this will speed up the scanning process instead of handing over all the bags to the cashier.

Liam suggested leaving the heavy bulk items in the trolley as they can scan them from there.

“And you’re good to go,” said the kid as he ended the video with a dance move.
