Wooden cotton reels
Do you remember when you used to have to wind your own cotton onto a wooden cotton reel? It was such a satisfying feeling, wasn’t it? Our Nanas would nail four tacks into the top of the wooden spool and begin knitting for us. This photo brings back so many happy memories.
