Woman scores $699 coffee table for only $30: “Right place at the right time”

Everyone here at the SDC loooves a good bargain, yeah? Well, take a gander at this!
One bargain hunter scored an absolute thrill, and an amazing deal on top, with a $699 coffee table for just $30!
Yes, you read that right, only $30. That’s more than 95 per cent off the original price.
We’re not jealous at all, really… (oh who are we kidding, of course, we are!)

Sharing on the Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook group, Hayley posted photos of the modern coffee table, marked with a clearance price tag of $30. She wrote in the caption: “Right place at the right time!”
When asked where such amazing deals could be found, Hayley revealed that it was Amart furniture that provided the crazy discount. “They had a section at the back with clearance things. There was a couch, a dining table, an outside dining set; all heavily-reduced if you zoom in on the price tag,” she said.
“It says the coffee table had scratches, nothing too bad though,” added Hayley, who said that she doesn’t mind giving the table a wipe for that deal.
While Amart is known for offering their customers amazing deals on furniture, it seems that this discount was next level.
Her post in the Facebook group gained a ton of attention from fellow bargain hunters, most of them congratulating her for the amazing find.
“Wow what a great bargain!” wrote one user, while another person joked: “I would have carried it home at that price!”
There’s also one user who commended Hayley’s luck, asking: “Did you go buy a lottery ticket after that?”
One user even went as far as suggesting that reselling the item could be profitable, as the product is currently sold out and the original store price is a whopping $759.
