Cass, however, suggested a clever approach: checking their joint rewards accounts, including Everyday Rewards or Flybuys.
Upon accessing their Flybuys account, the wife discovered that the Coles and Bunnings transactions were more than just typical purchases.
Both of the husband's transactions were made in the Queensland suburb where his ex-girlfriend lived.
This revelation confirmed the wife's worst fear.
'Ten dollars off your shop but a very expensive divorce,' Cass wrote on social media as she shared the story.
Her video quickly caught viewers' attention and led them to share similar experiences.
'I found out my now ex-husband bought condoms and kids' stuff at BIG W when I was looking for a transaction on my Everyday Rewards account. We don't have kids,' one shared in the comments.
'Nailed it! I caught mine the same way,' another exclaimed.
