Policeman pulls over a driver for speeding and asked to see his licence. He said that he left his wallet with the licence at home.
The wife in the passenger seat said .. "Rubbish! He doesn't have a licence he lost it last month".
The Husband stopped and turned to her and quite abusively told her to shut up and he would handle this situation.
The police officer looked through the open window and asked the wife " Lady, is he always this abusive to you?"
and she replied " Oh No, Officer, he is a lovely man and ONLY abuses me when he is drunk"
