Vegie, I know you mean this as a joke, but it doesn't sit well with all the news reports in the media at the moment. Men are getting a really bad wrap about domestic violence. This image is teaching his son the same behavior as himself.
Oh...I forgot the murder of a 10 year old girl at the hands of her 17 year old sister. That got swept under the carpet very quickly.

There are some women who verbally abuse their menfolk so it is not all one-sided.

I grow up in a different world than we are living in today, a damn sight stricter and violent however only a coward physically abuses women. I know some women have got more mouth than a cows got arse, but it still doesn't excuse violence. Actually I told my missus at the start that if ever I hit her I was out of there, the first punch is the hardest?

Absolutely, you are right about that. I lived through that in my childhood. I had a very soft-hearted Dad who just couldn't do anything right, according to Mum. Men are abused and punched and kicked as well.
The trouble is we are not hearing about it, they suffer in silence.
