In a video that has racked up around half a million views already, the woman behind the TikTok account @organizemychaos shared that she has been using her spare magazine holders to organise different items in her household.

Here are some of her tips.

First, she used a magazine holder to organise her coffee pods. And since the holder is thin, it can fit within the gap between the coffee machine and the wall. So whenever she wants to make herself a cuppa, she just has to pull out the holder and choose a pod.

Next, she used a magazine holder to organise the cupboard beneath her kitchen sink. She placed various items such as rolls of aluminium foil, parchment paper, and plastic zip bags vertically on the magazine holder and slid the holder on the bottom, decluttering the space.

She also dealt with a common frustration when organising our kitchen cupboards – the tupperware lids! Using a magazine holder, she stored the lids beside one another, creating a much more organised space. No more stacking!

Outside of the kitchen, you can even make use of the magazine holder in your bathroom! The TikTok user recommended using the office item to effectively organise your hair products, making them “concealed and easily accessible”.

And if you’re running on limited space in the cupboard, she also showed how magazine holders can be used to hold stacks of hand towels. It keeps them clean, too!

Aside from the woman’s tips, more people added their suggestions in the comments section.

One woman wrote that she uses magazine holders to hold curling wands and hair straighteners, while another added that she uses them to hold her hairdryer.

A third woman said her magazine holder has a wireframe on the outside, and she uses it to hold her earrings.

A fourth added: “I use mine to hold my pot lids.”

I use magazine holders wherever I can, also in my home office to hold Manila Folders with items that I need to hold onto for tax purposes and to store the many empty notebooks I intend filling one day!!
