Hi I am Jan and I live in the reported paradise of Coffs Harbour. Sometimes I think this is extremely true, other times I do wonder!
I am married to Rob......my lover, husband, my best friend. I am 79 years young. We compliment each other in many ways.
We have 5 children . One lives in USA, one Sydney, one in Abu Dhabi, one in Cabirita Beach and one in Adelaide.
We have two lively mini schnauzer dogs named Heidi and Dudley and an orange cat called Moet Kat.

Hello Jan @Endora! Thank you so much for joining the SDC. We hope you have a fun time here. Interesting family there, I see. How come they're all spread out across the world? They must be very successful at their careers!

Rob's daughter Tanya, won a Green Card Lottery and works for a bank in Fort Lauderdale, other daughter lives in Sydney and works in Insurance. Her man is a pilot. My eldest is a consultant with SAP and works with the higher members of the Abu Dhabi community. My daughter has a passive place to live in....in the hills behind Pottsville and Cabirita Beach just south of the NSW border. And my youngest son lives with his partner and both work in Adelaide. He is gay and I am a proud gay Mum ! Trouble is I am getting older now and would truly love to visit them all...but not to be. Thank goodness for technology. Jan

You and Rob must be so proud of them all! At least, if ever it comes to it, you can ask them instead to pay you both a visit

I think that for every problem, there are solutions, and we should look for them rather than just complain about the situation.
