When was the last time you gave yourself permission to pause?

Lately, I’ve been reminding myself how important it is to simply pause. Life moves so quickly, and it’s easy to get caught up in everything we 'have' to do. But sometimes, the kindest thing we can give ourselves is permission to slow down, breathe, and just be.

For me, even the smallest pauses, whether it’s stepping outside for fresh air, sitting quietly with a cup of green tea, or just taking a deep breath, make all the difference. Those moments don’t erase the hard things, but they do give me the strength to face them with a clearer heart.

Now I’d love to hear from you: when was the last time you gave yourself permission to pause? What did it look like for you, and how did it help? Big or small, your story might just inspire someone else here to take the breather they need. 💛

When I need to just be or breathe, I’ve started a journal ( late to the game) and write down my feelings, taking the time to embellish with stickers tape etc.

Hello, l have bee kinder to myself for the last 12months, it is part of my physical & mental healing. Took me 3 decades to get clarity back in my brain. I have been doing an exercise app. JustFit. It is a Pilates exercise on my bed. I have been doing 890 days. It is my basic morning routine. I remember my routine was all over the place or not in existence. I have taken a long time to heal. I take one day at a time. Thank you, be kind to yourself, Bye.

I`m doing this right now, in between the current activities in my home I am leaning on SDC to have a break. Does that sound weird??
