What's the weirdest compliment you've ever received?

Why, hello there, you lovely lot! Another Wednesday has rolled around, and here we are, breezing over that midweek hump together. It’s the perfect time to pause, share a laugh, and connect. So, for this afternoon, I have a curious question for you—what's the weirdest compliment you've ever received?

I’ll kick things off: someone once told me I have nice feet. Strange, right? It certainly caught me off guard!

My weirdest complement was a wolf whistle while I was walking up Flinders Lane between Elizabeth and Queen Streets. At the time I was 8 months pregnant. The wolf whistle came from a construction site that I had passed. I turned around and the worker got the shock of his life.

I had showered & moisturised all over with coconut oil. Went off to the local Surf Club to meet up with friends. On arrival I said 'hi' & hugged a male friend who said 'Ooh you smell like a Thai salad' I was a little surprised and he then said 'but a really nice Thai salad'... Ha..🤣🤣

Something I got alot was After having 13 kids was, what a good figure you have and how did you do it.

The other one that I often received was the midwives asking where my stretchmarks were . I have absolutely none. Not sure why I was supposed to have any.
I now have a huge scar across my belly where my belly button used to be 😔

I wouldn't have minded battle scars from my kids but hate how I got that scar

An Australian boss "but you are not a woman"🙄.Laughing I replied...this morning looking in the mirror I suspiciously looked like one🤣 .What prompted his remark? Discussing a female staff promotion, his argument against was the usual, marriage, kids and me saying but "I am married with kids"😉

My greatest compliment was from my son when he was around 10, he said I was as fat as a skinny greyhound, I loved it.
When he was around 12 he started calling me Ma Dingo, he said it just popped into his head one day. It was nothing to be at the local shopping centre and hear "Ma Dingo" blaring through the place, at least it wasn't just "mum" in which every mum would have turned around.
The last time I saw him he recorded "answer your phone Ma Dingo" which I would hear everytime my phone rang, what I wouldn't do today to find that phone just to hear his voice again :(

I was working for this really tough manager, who was always harsh on his staff.
At review time, he said "you did a very good job".
I thanked him and said I take that as a great compliment (coming from you}.
He replied "Hang on, don't get too excited, it wasn't THAT good" :( Ha Ha

Well someone said to me that after finding out what my job was, which was Library work, 'Of course, you look like a Librarian'. Bless their hearts, Librarians come in all sorts of people. They meant it as a compliment though, so I just said 'Thank you'. and left it at that.
