What's on your current reading list?

Hello there, friends! I hope you’re snuggled in warm this Thursday afternoon. I’m making myself a nice cuppa to go along with my reading time. I’ve started a 1986 novel called The Mustache, and yes, it really is about a moustache. 🥸 It has a quirky start, and I’m excited to find out the twist in the end. What’s on your current reading list? Share them here.

Monsters and Mainframes, by Barbara Truelove. 2025. Available from Amazon.
Can't describe it - you have to read it yourself.

Tried to send a photo - apparently too large for the server to process.

I will have to get that book, The Mustache,
You have my curiousity working overtime now.
I haven't long finished Highway and Byways by Jimmy Barnes
I had a lot of time and admiration for Jimmy and I a somewhat disgusted with his blatant disregard for the road rules by jokingly writing about being caught 3 time on the expressway into Sydney (Twice going in and once coming back out) at 200 Kmph and laughing at it. ... I think he is getting away without a fine BECAUSE he is Jimmy Barnes.

The Unpredictable Past -Lyn Behan A History Mystery

The Accidental Tourist - Anne Tyler

Diary of a Young Girl - Anne Frank

I've been on the lookout for a very funny book titled the the autobiography of a flea, a very funny victorian novel about life thru the eyes of a flea.

Try " Post Office" by Charles Bukowski.
Very different.
Published 1971
You will need to get it from an Inter Library loan ( most likely).

" This classic 1971 novel - the one catapulted its auther to national fame - is the perfect introduction to the grimly hysterical world of legendary writer, poet, and Dirty Old Man Charles Bukowski and his fictional alter ego, Chinaski, dragging his hangover out of bed every dawn to lug waterlogged mailbags up mud-soaked mountains, outsmart vicious guard dogs, and pray to survive day-to-day trials of sadistic bosses and certifiable coworkers"

It was published about 1880 to 1903. So is in the public domain. If you search the Web you should find a copy.
Quite erotic I believe.
